Bhagavad Gita Saar
|
Why do you worry needlessly without cause? Who do you fear without reason? Who can kill you? The aatman or soul does not take birth, and neither does it die.
Whatever happened, happened for the good; whatever is happening is good; whatever will happen in the future will also be good. Do not focus on regrets of the past. Do not focus on the worries of the future. Focus on the present.
What did you lose over which you cry and are so distraught? What did you bring here that you claim to have lost? What did you give birth to that got destroyed? You did not bring anything with you - whatever you have, you got from here. Whatever you took, you took from God. You came empty handed and you will leave empty handed. Whatever is yours today was someone else's yesterday and will belong to someone else in the future. The cause of your miseries is that you are thinking that all that is yours is indeed yours.
