Only after I came to UIUC have I seen anything comparable (honestly better) girls in the class. My class at Roorkee was pretty much a male only affair.

Then survived an Economics hons. at Miranda House [bland all girls!!]....and then repeated a DPS [meaning had a ball!] at the Mass Communication Centre, Jamia, Delhi to do an M.A degree in film and television production.
Memories : Etched in my memory...from getting slapped by Mrs Shistha for indulging in pillow fight at the ripe age of ten years, to shouting myself hoarse everytime we won those numerous prizes at Bang Club. My not so prim and propah hostel days have inspired a whole lot of movies in my mind....maybe someday.... All I can say is--DPS...live it up!!!!

Memories : Lotza them...can I count...!!starting from my dear friend Jugnu whose admission no. followed mine in Class Prep, Anurag's math abilities and the tough competition with him, Saurabh Sharma,Bornali,Amit Kapoor. My best friend Dipsy's chopsies and her chivdas, Anshu's real cool attitude and her sophisticated hair styles, Papia's extrovert'ness' which drove us crazy, Sheetal's mischievous love letters, being asked to give a speech by Mrs. Natrajan when my mouth was full of dosa...hey has a lot changed?

Class 9-C and 10-C solidarity ( hey, who can forget the panch pandavas, our group - GALS, friends forever and all that jazz!!), Class 11 and 12 - wonderful years, full of friends and fun (aren't they synonyms??)....... I never knew DPS was soooo huge a school till i joined class 11...... teachers: I'll never forget Mrs. Bhatnagar, Ishwaran......... CPWD (all bio students will remember him!!) etc etc etc.......

Education : Graduated DPS, RKP in 1992 & stepped into the real world-life just went haywire since then. Completed my B.D.S. (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) and recently moved to the US and have applied for Advanced Standing programs. Received my first acceptance letter earlier this week. Hoping to receive some more before having to decide.

Memories : 13 years of gay abandon. Miss my friends immensely-I meet them sometimes but meetings are few and far apart. Life was great. I miss the "Octet", the girls, the teachers, the chicks, the house functions, the debates and JAMS and Dramas, the seminars, hanging out at the 'Tin ka Dibba' in break, eating chole bature in hostel mess, the women, the bunked classes spent playing in the field,...there is so much, I can go on forever. Did I mention the babes? Yeah, Them too!!
